DelGrosso's Amusement Park
The DelGrosso family established one of the first amusement parks in the eastern United States when they built DelGrosso’s Amusement Park in Tipton, Pennsylvania. The family's mission has always been to provide quality at a fair price, whether it be for their line of tomato sauce or the family-friendly atmosphere of their amusement park. "Tipton Falls" is the name given to the first two water slides and kiddie pool that were built on the site more than a decade ago. These attractions draw a significant crowd in the summer months, and the family wanted to capitalize on water-based recreation and expand to create a full water park. Working with our design team, DelGrosso’s established an Italian theme. This design concept informed the details of a new lazy river with wading cove, zero depth entry and wave pool. Lounging areas, a pedestrian bridge with gift shops and vendor booths, and themed snack bars complete the experience and offer an engaging environment for a full day of multi-generational water play.
Most recently, Weston & Sampson provided design for DelGrosso's Laguna Splash Water Park, which included the wave pool and river, site layout, and buildings.
