Manchester's Globe Hollow Water Treatment Plant

In 1986, the American Consulting Engineers Council of New England (ACEC/NE) honored Weston & Sampson for our design of the Globe Hollow Water Treatment Plant in Manchester, Connecticut. The town’s water system, which includes seven reservoirs and 10 wells, had consistently failed to meet state and federal drinking water standards.

Features that make the Globe Hollow facility unique include a state-certified water testing laboratory and offices for the town’s Water and Sewer Division. This facility is the major component of over $20 million of water system improvements that Weston & Sampson has designed for the Town of Manchester.
