Design and Construction Bid Documents for Football Field Refurbishment
For the Town of Coventry, Weston & Sampson developed final designs and construction bid documents for the refurbishment of the community’s premier Pop Warner football field facility. Work included the restoration of field turf areas and the installation of field sports lighting and irrigation systems.
Comprehensive services provided to the town included landscape architecture and sports field design, civil engineering, structural engineering, electrical engineering, and construction oversight. Services were provided within an extremely compressed timeframe that allowed for design and bidding of the project within two months and for construction during the winter and spring of 2008 for use by the fall of 2008. Construction is now complete. The field has been re-dedicated by the town and is in use by Pop Warner Football.
