Presenting at 2020 NCAUG Virtual Conference for NCASPRS


Matt Elious, Connie Krampf, and Ray Newby of Weston & Sampson will be presenting as part of the 2020 North Carolina ARCGIS Users Group (NCAUG) Virtual Conference, which will take place from September 2 – 4. The team’s presentation, entitled “NCDOT UAS Test Site Sensor Evaluation Project Review,” will discuss the use of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS), or drone, on a NCDOT Test Site to validate the UAS performance and geospatial accuracy of derived photogrammetry products. By invitation, the team will be representing the NC Region of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (NCASPRS) to highlight an ASPRS topic. Matt Elious, CP is Weston and Sampson’s photogrammetry team leader, Connie Krampf, CP is a photogrammetry manager, and Ray Newby is a licensed UAS Pilot and Sr. Project Manager.
