Weston & Sampson is proud to have been honored by the Climate Change Business Journal® (CCBJ) with their 2021 Business Achievement Award for supporting the Resilient MA Action Team (RMAT) in the “Climate Change Adaptation & Resilience” category.
Championed and led by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, the RMAT’s Statewide Climate Resilience Design Standards is a first-in-the-nation, interactive, web-based beta tool that integrates climate exposure and risk and provides design standards to inform “climate smart” capital planning and design.
Grounded in scientific methodology and using the best available climate projections for Massachusetts, the tool provides dynamic recommendations for integrating climate resilience into designing buildings, infrastructure, and natural resources.
The 2021 CCBJ awards were presented live at the CCBJ Business Achievement Awards banquet at Environmental Industry Summit XX on March 17, 2022 in San Diego.
