Weston & Sampson would like to announce several key promotions within the company. 

To Creative Director

Christine O’Brien has been promoted to Creative Director, working from our Reading, Massachusetts office. She has more than 20 years of experience in graphic design, and oversees the creation, implementation, and maintenance of the firm’s branding and visual identity, including collateral material, advertisements, promotional pieces, presentations, trade show displays, computer-generated images, websites, and social media. Christine also provides high-quality graphic design services to meet the needs of various client initiatives.

 

To Practice Leader

Indrani Ghosh, PhD has been promoted to Practice Leader of our Climate Resiliency initiative, working from our Boston, Massachusetts office. Indrani has 20 years of experience as a water resources engineer and technical lead for climate change resiliency projects. She specializes in leading interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders through risk-based prioritization of adaptation solutions. Indrani has industry-leading experience translating climate change projections to engineering design criteria for new and existing infrastructure and in modeling climate impacts for vulnerability assessment and adaptation planning. She has worked with numerous municipalities and public agencies to model their exposure to coastal and stormwater flooding in complex urban environments. Indrani is frequently invited to participate in panel discussions on climate risk and resiliency and has won national awards for her contributions to the field.

 

To Technical Leader

Timothy Deguglielmo, PE has been promoted to Technical Leader in our Wastewater group, working from our Manchester, New Hampshire office. Timothy has nearly 20 years of experience in the planning, design, permitting, and construction administration of wastewater and stormwater collection systems and pump stations. His responsibilities include the hydraulic analysis of pump station and force main systems, as well as permitting, bid document preparation, and construction administration. Timothy is a Massachusetts registered Professional Engineer.

 

Jeffrey Hutton, PE has been promoted to Technical Leader in our Wastewater group, working from our Reading, Massachusetts office. Jeffrey has 20 years of experience in wastewater collection, including force main and pump stations; drainage; and water system projects. His experience includes town-wide sewer investigation, design, and rehabilitation programs; as well as providing construction representative services for culvert and water main replacements, drainage pipe installations, testing/sealing of sewer main joints and service connections, and manhole rehabilitations. Jeffrey is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

 

To Senior Team Leader

Jesse Johnson, PE has been promoted to Senior Team Leader in our Water group, working from our Reading, Massachusetts office. Jesse has nearly 30 years of consulting and municipal experience managing a wide variety of land development and capital improvements projects. He has designed and managed the preparation of construction documents and permit applications, as well as provided peer review services for numerous commercial and residential projects. Jesse is a Massachusetts registered Professional Engineer.

 

To Team Leader

Paige Lux, PE has been promoted to Team Leader in our Wastewater group, working from our Charleston, South Carolina office. Paige has 10 years of experience providing services related to hydraulics, wastewater, water treatment, environmental, stormwater, and permitting for municipal infrastructure projects. Her expertise includes the development of pollution prevention plans, hazardous and solid waste management, watershed hydrology, and risk assessment, along with specialized experience in potable water treatment and advanced oxidation and adsorption processes. Paige is a registered Professional Engineer in South Carolina.

 

Ashley Sweet has been promoted to Team Leader in our Water group, working from our Foxborough, Massachusetts office. Ashley has 20 years of experience in planning, primarily in municipal planning. She offers expertise in comprehensive and master planning, environmental planning, environmental assessment procedures, subdivision regulations, site plan review, and ordinances. She has extensive experience with auditing and drafting zoning ordinances; an in-depth understanding of survey design, administration, and analysis; and familiarity with federal, state, and local regulatory and administrative procedures.

 

Ryan Niles, PG, LSP has been promoted to Team Leader in our Environmental, Geotechnical, & Energy group, working from our Reading, Massachusetts office. Ryan has more than 20 years of experience with a wide range of environmental investigation and construction support projects. His experience includes providing services related to the Massachusetts Contingency Plan, as well as brownfields, environmental site assessment, and remedial planning and redevelopment projects. Ryan is a Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts and a registered Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania.

 

Michael Paulin, PE has been promoted to Team Leader in our Wastewater group, working from our Reading, Massachusetts office. Michael has more than 25 years of experience in the planning, design, construction, and permitting of wastewater collection systems, subsurface disposal systems, and pump stations for municipal and private clients. He also provides survey and soil evaluation services for various civil engineering projects. Michael is a Massachusetts registered Professional Engineer and a Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Certified Soil Evaluator.

 

Lee Rosberg has been promoted to Team Leader in our Environmental, Geotechnical, & Energy group, working from our Waterbury, Vermont office. Lee has 16 years of experience in environmental assessment and cleanup, including the design and implementation of Phase I, II, and III environmental assessment; brownfields; and remediation projects. He regularly works with state and federal agencies, government organizations, regional planning commissions, utilities, developers, and private entities. Lee has presented on polychlorinated biphenyl and brownfields-related topics at professional meetings throughout New England.

 

Kristin Kowalik-Grillo, LEED®AP has been promoted to Team Leader in our Facilities group, working from our Foxborough, Massachusetts office. Kristin is an architectural designer with more than 15 years of experience on a wide range of design projects, including life science, higher education, and industrial facilities buildings. Kristin is an expert in BIM modeling and is knowledgeable in all standard building codes and permitting documents required to take a project from schematic design through construction to final closeout. Kristin is a LEED® Accredited Professional.
