Weston & Sampson added capabilities in Transportation, Bridge Design, Landscape Architecture, CMR – Construction, and WWE – Equipment Sales. The company continued to expand its geographic footprint with Transportation, Bridge Design & Survey in its new Rocky Hill, CT office.
Weston & Sampson rapidly grew and opened multiple new locations during the 2010’s, including Albany, NY, Charleston, SC, Boston, MA, Columbia, SC, Worcester, MA, Manchester, NH, and CMR opened a shop in Avon, MA.
Weston & Sampson grew with the acquisition of Atlantic Aquatic Engineering, Rhinebeck Architecture, Denis L Maher Co., Dragin Geothermal, and Brooker Engineering. The first 198 people became fully vested in our ESOP program.
Indrani Ghosh coauthored an article in BSCES entitled, “ResilientMass Action Team’s (RMAT) Climate Resilience Design Standards Tool” that details Weston & Sampson’s work to design a free interactive web-tool that generates a preliminary climate risk screening and recommended standards for projects.
Emily Weckman authored an article in PBR+ entitled, “A Tale of Two Fields: getting the drainage right in the athletic fields” that details Weston & Sampson’s work to redesign two parks with different drainage needs.
Gracie Swansburg authored an article in Parks & Recreation entitled, “Dynamic Park Design” that details Weston & Sampson’s work to redesign two Boston area parks to manage the impacts of climate change.
Jessie Johnson’s article in High Profile titled, “Revitalizing Great Brook Valley: Trinity Financial’s Vision for the Curtis Apartments Redevelopment,” outlines the transformative project.
Jim Riordan’s article in NEREJ titled, “Using stormwater Infiltration to Improve Water Quality in Rhode Island,” describes the Stormwater Best Management Practices that the town of North Providence is implementing to alleviate the flooding and water quality issues in the area.
