Bartlem Park Master Plan

This 65-acre park is in the town center and it serves as the hub for community life in Cheshire.  Weston & Sampson recently completed a master planning process, which included a pop-up tent and display at an outdoor event, on-line survey, numerous public engagement sessions and meetings with a half dozen stakeholder groups.  The full park buildout is estimated to a cost around $14M and the project is going to a fall referendum for a $6M Phase I program.

Amenities include a community pool, splash pad, a 90-foot baseball diamond, soccer, lacrosse + multi-use fields, children’s nature-based playground, pavilion, picnic area, community gardens, central gathering spaces, parking areas, trail systems, stormwater management facilities, and skate park.
