Bridges to Prosperity Jabiro Bridge Inauguration

The Jabiro suspended bridge in Rwanda is complete. Over a two week period in December 2023, five members of Weston & Sampson, along with partners from Mott MacDonald in Canada, local participants from the community of Jabiro, and supported by the Bridges to Prosperity headquarters staff, embarked on this volunteer bridge build. The new 180-foot suspended bridge crosses over the Miguramo river and will connect four villages and create safe, year-round access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and markets to nearly 7,500 residents.

On inauguration day we were immensely proud to have been involved in this project, and honored to have connected with the people of Rwanda during this journey of community building.
