BWI Concourse A Improvements

Weston & Sampson served as a subconsultant to WSP USA and provided surveying, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), and GIS services for the new concourse A extension at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. The $48 million project added 55,000 square feet to Concourse A, which serves Southwest Airlines. The expansion includes:

  • Five new gates
  • Three new food and retail concessions
  • New airline hold rooms and jet bridges
  • Upgraded restrooms
