On-Call Civil and Survey Support

State Project No. B1-2B-1009-U On-Call Civil and Survey Support

Weston & Sampson was retained by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Works to provide the following services :

  • State Project No. BI-2B-007, Fairfield Hills Hospital Boundary Survey, Newtown, CT. 650 acre boundary survey with subdivision plans, easement maps and other mapping for disposition of various pieces of the property.
  • State Project No. BI-2B-007, Former State Police Barracks and Adjacent site, Westport, CT. Class A-2 Boundary and Class T-2 Topographic surveys of 2.2 acre site for disposal as surplus State Property.
  • State Project No. BI-RC-268, Rehabilitation of Practice Football Field, Central Conn.State University, New Britain, CT. A-N preformed field survey of the site and designed a total reconstruction of the field including natural turf and surface and subsurface drainage systems.
  • State Project No. BI-2B-007-N, Former DMR Group Home, Tress Road, Prospect, CT. A-N performed a Class A-2 boundary survey for disposal of the parcel as surplus State Property. A-N also determined the effectiveness of the existing on site septic system by exposing and inspecting portions of the system, testing the local soils for percolation and permeability rates and evaluating the existing system for Health Department compliance.
  • State Project No. BI-RC-281A & 279A, Survey and Geotechnical Services, Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, CT. This assignment consisted of compiling base site mapping, utility mapping and site surveys in support of an RFQ package for a parking garage in the area. Subsurface explorations were also performed as well geotechnical engineering and chemical screening of soil samples.
