Weston & Sampson’s Cheri Ruane, FASLA, Vice President of our Design Studio, has been named one of 10 winners of a 2022 Pinnacle Award, in the category “Achievement in the Professions,” by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. The Pinnacle Awards honor leading women in the Boston area for their outstanding contributions to the workplace and their commitment to enhancing the quality of life in the region.

In her award announcement, Cheri states that, as a landscape architect, her top goal is to improve people’s quality of life through design. Her projects include parks, resilient waterfront open spaces, urban downtowns, public commons, multi-use paths, and athletic facilities. As the leader of the firm’s landscape design practice, she has developed a brand for the firm that has not only elevated the practice externally but engendered a depth of understanding and interdependent collaboration internally.
