Weston & Sampson’s Dan Biggs has been approved as a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERP) by the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER). SER is an international non-profit organization dedicated to promoting ecological restoration as a means of sustaining the diversity of life on Earth and re-establishing an ecologically healthy relationship between nature and culture. CERP certification is intended to encourage a high professional standard for practitioners who are designing, implementing, overseeing, and monitoring restoration projects.
Dan, based in our Albany, New York office, is a Registered Landscape Architect with more than 15 years of multi-disciplinary experience in all phases of landscape architecture design and environmental planning projects. His background includes leading multi-disciplinary teams on master planning, mixed-use and commercial site design, parks and recreational facilities, multi-use trails, campus improvements, and multi-modal transportation projects. Dan is also a certified arborist and irrigation designer.
