Review of Natural Resources and Assets to Ensure Compliance with Local and State Policy
This project developed an update of the Portsmouth, Rhode Island local plan of development. The update involved review of natural resources, recreation, historic and cultural resources, housing, economic development, agriculture, services and facilities (e.g., infrastructure), energy, water supply, transportation, natural hazards and climate change, and land use to ensure compliance with local needs, the Rhode Island State Guide Plan and other Rhode Island state policy. Update also included preparation and implementation of significant public involvement strategy.
