EBC Environmental-Energy Merit Award for Leadership by a Non-Profit Organization
On June 27, 2018, at the 2018 EBEE Awards Celebration in Boston, MA, Weston & Sampson received The EBC Environmental-Energy Merit Award for Leadership by a Non-Profit Organization for our work on the MBTA Bartlett Yard Remediation and Redevelopment project. The award is in recognition of outstanding leadership for the remediation and redevelopment of the contaminated MBTA Bartlett Yard Brownfield site into Bartlett Place, an innovative urban mixed-used development in Roxbury, MA. Project partners Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation, and Windale Developers, Inc. were also on hand to receive the award.
Alexandra Dapolito Dunn, Regional Administrator, U.S. EPA – Region 1, presented the award. David Price, Executive Director, Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation, made remarks on behalf of the project and award recipients.
