Weston & Sampson’s Blake Martin and Indrani Ghosh, Ph.D. will play key roles in an upcoming virtual webinar presented by the Environmental Business Council of New England (EBC) titled “Into the Mystic: Data-Driven Response to Regional Stormwater Management Challenges.” The webinar will take place on April 7, 2021 from 9:00 am –noon and will use the backdrop of the Mystic River Watershed to explore critical issues in surface water quality and stormwater management. The focus will be on deliberate data-driven planning efforts to drive infrastructure improvements that reduce flooding impacts and improve climate resiliency.
Blake will be co-chairing the event along with Peter Durning of Mackie Shea Durning, PC and Caroline Hampton of VHB. Indrani will serve as a panelist and discuss data-driven modeling of inland and coastal stormwater phenomena. Other panelists will be Patrick Herron of the Mystic River Watershed Association, Catherine Daly Woodbury of the City of Cambridge, and Mark Voorhees of US EPA Region 1. General Continuing Education Certificates will be available.
