Weston & Sampson’s Julie Eaton Ernst, PE will be chairing and Indrani Ghosh, PhD will be speaking at an upcoming technical webinar entitled “An Overview of the RMAT Resilience Design Standards Tool.” Presented by the Environmental Business Council of New England, the webinar will take place on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Also speaking will be Mia Mansfield, Director of Climate Adaptation and Resilience with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs.
The Resilient MA Action Team (RMAT) is the Commonwealth’s inter-agency taskforce implementing the State Hazard Mitigation and Climate Adaptation Plan. Over Earth Week 2021, the RMAT launched a beta Climate Resilience Design Standards Tool to help agencies and municipalities assess climate exposure and incorporate resilience standards in design and planning. This webinar will discuss the new tool, how to utilize it, and enhancements that are underway.
