Weston and Sampon provided turn-key engineering services for the Elkins highway road design project, NC-268, Elkins, NC including gutter, median & curb. This project involved 1.8miles of urban highway widening from 2 to 4 lanes with median, curb, and gutter along with an additional 1.7 miles of rural widening from 2 to 4 lanes with a raised median and open shoulders. We provided final construction roadway, hydraulic, and drainage design as well as utility coordination and water/sewer relocation services.
