Bob Goober, Weston & Sampson’s Business Development Director, is retiring at the end of April.
When Bob joined Weston & Sampson in 1985, the company had 45 employees and one office in Wakefield, Massachusetts. For nearly 40 years, Bob was instrumental in the company’s growth, which now has more than 850 team members and 25 offices and service locations along the East Coast.
After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1982, Bob spent the first 18 years of his career working on municipal infrastructure improvement projects. He went on to achieve his MBA from Northeastern University and was promoted to Marketing Director in 2000, transitioning to a client-facing role serving our municipal clients in New England. Bob’s commitment to client responsiveness and service paved the way for the next generation of client service management with the appointment of Patrick Yeo to Business Development Manager.
Pat is a 2012 graduate of the University of Massachusetts and received his M.S. in Engineering Management from Tufts University. Pat joined Weston & Sampson as a co-operative student in 2010, dedicating his entire career thus far to Weston & Sampson. Like Bob, Pat’s initial responsibilities were the design and management of municipal infrastructure projects. In his new role, Pat will assume Bob’s responsibilities providing full-time client service management.
Please join us in congratulating Bob on his retirement after 39 years of service at Weston & Sampson and reach out to Pat for all of your client service needs at Yeop@wseinc.com.
