Weston & Sampson is very glad to welcome Jeannie Lewis to the firm as a Senior Project Manager in our Charleston, South Carolina office. She most recently served as a Project Manager for the Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. She brings over 30 years of experience to the firm in coastal management and related disciplines, including permitting and compliance. She is highly skilled in stormwater, green and natural infrastructure, coastal resiliency, wetlands, wildlife, ecology, community engagement, grant writing, and strategic planning.
Jeannie will be assisting Weston & Sampson clients with risk mitigation through strategic environmental permitting and compliance, in addition to the incorporation of more resilient designs initiating at the project planning stage.
Jeannie earned her BA in Sociology with a concentration in environmental science, with Master’s studies in coastal geology/geomorphology, from the University of Virginia.
