Weston & Sampson’s Jim Riordan, AICP, LEED® AP will once again serve as an instructor for a webinar co-hosted by the American Planning Association (APA)’s Sustainable Community Division and Environment, Natural Resources, and Energy Division (ENRE). The webinar, entitled “Preparing to Plan for Climate Change—What Tools Do We Need?” will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. This webinar will present the results of a recent APA survey that asked planners how prepared they were to face the climate crisis, and will also engage participants to contribute to the ongoing effort to build the planning toolkit to meet these new challenges.
