Steve LaRosa of Weston & Sampson will be co-chairing the Environmental Business Council of New England (EBC)’s upcoming third annual PFAS seminar entitled “What About the Other End of the Pipe?” Steve’s co-chair for the event, which will take place over two sessions on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, will be Elizabeth Denly of TRC.
The seminar will focus on the growing need for reliable, certified, and consistent PFAS analytical methods for non-drinking water matrices. The presenters will also discuss the potential impacts of the growing knowledge surrounding PFAS concentrations in wastewater, biosolids, and surface water on the regulated community.
The morning session will present an overview of the much-anticipated Draft EPA Method 1633 to be used for wastewater and surface water analyses, while the afternoon session will solely focus on EPA and State regulatory visions of the future of PFAS regulation.
Each session requires a separate registration, and the EBC will award General Continuing Education Certificates for both webinars.
