Steve LaRosa of Weston & Sampson will be co-chairing and presenting as part of an upcoming webinar put on by the Environmental Business Council of New England (EBC)’s Rhode Island chapter titled “PFAS Update – Where We Are and Where We’re Heading.” The event takes place on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 9:00am – 12:00pm.
Steve and the panel will provide an overview and update of PFAS activities in Rhode Island. Specifically, they will provide a brief overview of the current state of understanding of PFAS contaminants, present a case study of the Burrillville PFAS release and remedial efforts, and then discuss ongoing PFAS regulatory activities in Rhode Island. A robust panel discussion will conclude the program and the EBC will award Continuing Education Certificates.
