National Grid-Approved Energy Project Expediter (PEX)

NatGrid PEX

In June 2013 Weston & Sampson was approved by National Grid as an associate energy Project Expediter (PEX). Through this relationship, we offer our suite of energy conservation services to public and private clients located in any of the National Grid-owned electric or gas utility service territories in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Program participants may qualify for rebates related to energy conservation measures, resulting in savings of 50% or more of the project cost.

As a pre-qualified energy contractor, Weston & Sampson can help you identify and install energy conservation measures and maximize incentives available under Mass Save and Rhode Island Energy Efficiency Incentive programs.

In Massachusetts, energy savings projects for the public sector do not have to be put out to bid if the value of the work is less than $100,000. The DOER website provides further information for purchasing officers:

Taking advantage of incentive programs and services can significantly reduce your energy costs. Our team of professional and technical staff is adept at identifying inefficiencies and can design cost-effective solutions to improve and optimize energy use. Weston & Sampson’s staff of nearly 500 professionals includes over 50 mechanics, technicians, licensed master electricians, journeymen, and apprentice electricians, and over 30 personnel engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.

In November 2017, Weston & Sampson was also selected by National Grid as an associate Energy Efficiency Project Expediter (PEX) in Upstate New York. Through this relationship, we are excited to offer our suite of energy conservation services to public and private clients who are located in any of the National Grid-owned electric or gas utility service territories in New York.
