🔹 Matt McGuire, a South Carolina-licensed Professional Engineer based in our Columbia office, manages our landfill environmental monitoring program, which spans more than 40 sites. He attended sessions focused on regulatory updates and treatment technologies for PFAS compounds in landfills.
🔹 Tom Effinger, Senior Project Manager in our Columbia office, had the opportunity to reconnect with many environmental industry professionals and regulators he worked with during his 33-year tenure as Director of Environmental Services at Dominion Energy (formerly SCANA).
🔹 Brian McCormack, who leads Weston & Sampson’s solid waste services, attended presentations on landfill air space management practices in South Carolina, as well as national trends in the transportation of solid waste and recyclable materials.
