Early Adaptation Key to Climate Resiliency

So far in 2018, we’ve experienced two Nor’Easter storms that have resulted in an estimated $2.8 billion dollars in damages. In looking a back at 2017, “…the U.S. experienced 16 weather and climate disasters with losses exceeding $1 billion, with total costs of approximately $306 billion – a new U.S. annual record,” according to the recent NOAA report. Early adaptation is key to preparing for and preventing future damages.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Lions Club Reading MA Journey for Sight Run last night. Despite the heat and humidity, our team powered through!

Weston & Sampson was proud to have 13 participants this year and to once again bring home several Age Group awards:
🥇 Reilly Zink – 1st in Age Group, 2nd Overall Female
🥉 Nathan Olsen – 3rd in Age Group, 15th Overall
🥈 Mike Paulin – 2nd in Age Group, 16th Overall

We wrapped up the evening with food and conversation at Public Kitchen Reading, just steps from the finish line. It was a fun and rewarding event, and we look forward to continuing the tradition next year.
