These efforts reflect our commitment to protect, improve, and sustain the natural and built environment to enhance the quality of life — not just on Earth Day, but year-round. Here's how a few of our offices contributed:
🌴 Fort Myers, FL: Team members headed to Bunche Beach for a cleanup. With tourist season winding down, they were happy to find less trash than expected — though some surprising items included socks, swim trunks, dirty diapers, construction debris, and a full 12-pack of beer.
🌱 Greenville, SC: The Greenville office volunteered with TreesUpstate for Earth Day, helping unload almost 1,000 trees at the ReWa office, a Weston & Sampson client. These trees will be given away at various events across Upstate South Carolina. TreesUpstate’s mission is to plant, promote, and protect trees and raise awareness of their environmental impacts.
🪴Foxborough, MA: Staff rolled up their sleeves to clean up around the office, keeping our work environment clean and green.
🌿 Reading, MA: Volunteers joined the Friends of Lake Quannapowitt to clean up trash and clear plant debris along the shores and in surrounding park areas.
🌳 Rocky Hill, CT: The Rocky Hill crew picked a beautiful day to tackle Surwilo Park, helping refresh this community space.
🌊 Portsmouth, NH: Our Portsmouth team worked along the banks of the Piscataqua River, collecting trash to help protect this important waterway for both locals and wildlife.
Thank you to everyone who participated and continues to make a positive difference in our communities and environment!
