On Wednesday, May 5, 2021, Joanna Nadeau presents “How to Apply for Grants Without Getting Overwhelmed,” during the APA Career Center Speed Share: Professional Growth sessions. Municipal budgets are constrained from the pandemic, making supplemental grant funding an even bigger necessity. Viewers will learn how planners' skills and thinking can be applied to strategically capture grants, drawing on work with dozens of municipalities to secure state/federal funding.
On Friday, May 7, Amanda Kohn, AICP, and Adria Boynton present “Engagement for Everyone: Strategies for Accessible Virtual Engagement during COVID-19” along with Ibrahim López-Hernández of Green Roots, and Ky’Ron Owens from the Boston Office of Emergency Management.
