Weston & Sampson provides integrated civil/site services and technical expertise to help development projects go from planning to occupancy quickly and cost-effectively.

Our creative team of environmental scientists, architects, and engineers undertake and successfully complete demanding development projects by addressing challenges related to contamination, inadequate infrastructure, traffic requirements, wetlands, geotechnical issues, and difficult to construct areas. Working with planning, zoning, conservation, and public works departments, we support a range of project types, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments and infrastructure improvements. 

From small resident to large-scale mixed-use developments, our experienced staff ensures that every project is performed at the highest quality in a timely and cost-effective manner. We work to develop due-diligence studies to determine any site constraints that may impede site development, develop alternative site design options, and submit required permits to local, state, and federal agencies. We help clients determine how to maximize a property’s benefits and provide support from preliminary research and due diligence, all the way through construction. 

We are committed to providing sustainable site design by implementing sustainable practices and Low Impact Development (LID) techniques. These methods can help preserve or restore a site’s hydrology; preserve open space, native plants, and wildlife; reduce infrastructure and development costs; improve water quality; reduce flooding; improve site aesthetics; and provide pedestrian friendly neighborhoods. Additionally, our Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified staff members incorporate LEED principles for green site design.
