In June of 1973, Peter Smith and Fran Yanuskiewicz both started at Weston & Sampson a week apart from each other. Now, as they both transition to a part-time “near full retirement” status, we recognize them both for their hard work, dedication, satisfied clients, and for just being great guys and mentors.
When Pete and Fran started, we had one office in Boston with a workforce of fewer than 20. Since then, their dedication and leadership have been instrumental in driving our growth to over 700 employees in 22 offices along the east coast. After 47+ years of service to the firm, we cannot begin to count all of the folks that they have trained, coached, and mentored along the way. We send our sincerest appreciation for all they have done at Weston & Sampson and for the road they paved for all of the new engineers, architects, and environmental professionals that will follow in their footsteps.
