Our firm performed utility coordination services for a new roadway connecting North Myrtle Beach Main Street / US-17 intersection with the proposed Carolina Bays Parkway interchange and SC-90. A high density of utilities were encountered in the commercial area along US-17. These utilities included numerous, large sanitary sewer main lines that served the adjacent North Myrtle Beach WWTP. All utilities were surveyed and mapped including aerial and underground. Mapping was performed using SCDOT standard line styles and SCDOT Pole & Utility Inventory Data Sheets were prepared. Fifteen (15) test holes were proposed at locations agreed to by our firm, SCDOT and utility owners.
