Bellows Falls New Headworks and Septage Receiving Facility
Weston & Sampson was retained by the Village of Bellow Falls to construct a $2.5 million improvements project at its 1.4-mgd wastewater treatment facility, which has an outfall to the Connecticut River. This construction work included all new equipment and integration into the existing WWTF with the following components:
- 2,300 square foot headworks building with under-building storage
- Odor control system using packaged granulated activated carbon
- Concrete influent channel
- Yard piping, valves, controls, and instrumentation
- Screening and grit removal system
- Septage receiving station and pumping equipment
