Weston & Sampson considers the health and safety of our employees, clients, and subcontractors as our most important responsibility. As such, we are committed to ensuring a safe workplace, whether in our own offices, at a project site, or at a client’s facility.  

Weston & Sampson maintains a “worksafe” intranet site where we provide readily accessible information, including an online Health & Safety Manual as a tool to train our employees in topics that range from driver safety, bloodborne pathogens, field safety and confined space  to flammable and combustible liquids and hazard communication, and many more.  

About Health & Safety Support

The Weston & Sampson Safety Team has helped clients build health and safety programs to meet applicable state and federal regulatory requirements and develop safer workplaces for their staff. The Safety Team works with clients providing a variety of health & safety support services including the following:

  • Facility and Work Site Safety Audits and Inspections – OSHA & state safety program compliance
  • Development of Facility and/or Site-Specific Health & Safety Plans
  • Municipal Facilities Health & Safety Compliance Review (DPW, Wastewater Treatment, Water Treatment/Distribution)
  • Workplace Hazard Reviews & Hazard Communication Program Development
  • Required Annual Workplace Health & Safety Training

About Health & Safety Training

Weston & Sampson offers comprehensive safety-related training for both private companies and public/municipal groups. Geared to both supervisors and staff, our training courses include start-up, operation, preventative and corrective maintenance, and safety. We provide training for large and small groups and a variety of safety of topics including:

  • Bloodborne Pathogens (Annual OSHA Required)
  • Competent Person

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Respiratory Protection (Air Purifying Respirators)
  • Negative-Pressure Air Purifying Respirator Qualitative Fit-Testing

Up to 4 TCHs can be issued for any of the classes above. TCHs issued are based on the actual amount of training time spent on each topic.
