Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Grants

Weston & Sampson is geared up to help communities in Massachusetts get ready for the upcoming Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Action Grant season. As you develop your budget this year, consider leveraging your dollars to meet the 25% match requirement for an application. Want to get creative? Not sure where to start? Get an early start to receive feedback from EEA by submitting an optional Expression of Interest form due February 14th, with earlier submissions encouraged by January 21st.

Weston & Sampson has successfully supported more than 50 municipal climate resilient grant applications across the state, resulting in over $10 million in resilience grant funding to:

• create climate adaptation plans
• design resilient, nature-based solutions that offer co-benefits
• implement resilient capital improvement projects
• conduct creative and equitable community outreach and engagement
