Wappingers Central School District Parking Lot Upgrades

Weston & Sampson provided engineering and design services for site improvements at multiple school and administrative sites for the Wappingers Central School District in New York.

Our team designed improvements and reconstruction of several parking lots throughout the district to accommodate new building additions and address existing drainage issues. With careful consideration to reduce the limits of disturbance and construction costs, we designed multiple pavement sections depending on expected use, as well as full-depth reclamation and milling and overlay at several locations. Stormwater management improvements included underground storage chambers, vegetated swales, detention basins, and drainage structure and pipe improvements. We also prepared SEQR permit documents, the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, site surveys, field investigations, construction documents, and construction administration and oversight.
