Franklin Center Revitalization

Weston & Sampson worked with the Town of Franklin to revitalize Franklin Center, implementing infrastructure improvements (parking, traffic, streetscape, open space expansion) to create a more exciting, cohesive, and aesthetically pleasing retail and residential setting.

We assisted with securing project funding and facilitating the community participation process. Improvements included full-depth reclamation on Main Street and Summer Street and full-depth box widening, pavement milling, and overlay on other streets in the project area. Other features included ADA/AAB-compliant cement concrete sidewalks, an upgraded drainage system, new period lighting, new signs and pavement markings, landscaping, a new coordinated signal system, and pedestrian and bicycle accommodations.
