Hudson City School District Facilities

Facilities Assessment & Renovation Planning for K–12 School District

Weston & Sampson has assisted the Hudson City School District with multiple facility improvement projects, ranging from the $170,000 relocation/renovation of district offices to the $31.7M addition of a Junior High School.

Starting in 2000, our team conducted multiple building condition surveys to support the district’s school master plan, which resulted in significant improvement projects. Our projects have also included renovations and additions at a high school sports facility, a science and technology addition to the existing high school, and a $10M project at a historical middle school that involved a 48,000-SF addition and a 30,000-SF renovation. We provided architectural services for the $3.8M 8,000-GSF addition at John L. Edwards Elementary School to accommodate pre-kindergarten and related services, which was an AIA Merit Award Winner.
