Site analysis and development readiness planning for town-owned parcels to support housing affordability in Jamestown.
Jamestown is pursuing strategies to use municipally owned parcels for housing development to address affordability challenges, especially for its essential workers and aging population.
Through RIHousing’s Pipeline Development Program, Weston & Sampson is providing site analysis and development readiness planning for 13 town-owned parcels to create housing opportunities while addressing infrastructure and environmental constraints.
This includes evaluation of environmental constraints, infrastructure requirements and applicable zoning regulations. Our team will create conceptual renderings of site layouts as well as infrastructure cost estimates and a permitting roadmap for potential developments. The final report will compile each site’s analysis, as well as identify funding strategies and recommended sequencing.
