Wright’s Mill Master Recovery Plan
Master Plan for Mill Redevelopment & Economic Resilience
Weston & Sampson was selected to create an economic development-focused master plan for the redevelopment of the Wright’s Mill complex in Warren, Massachusetts.
Our team will help the town utilize an EDA grant to reposition the mill. The team will research the history of the mill, document existing conditions, and develop three hypothetical development alternatives. We will clarify the benefits to the town and region of each alternative, as well as the required infrastructure upgrades and permitting needs. Additionally, we will assist the town in identifying funding sources to support redevelopment for each alternative, and create media and marketing plans to generate interest and excitement for redevelopment in the community. The entire project will be supported by a robust public engagement process, including an up-to-date project website, a public workshop series and listening session, a community survey, and a project video.
