Downtown Revitalization Master Plan

Weston & Sampson is working with town staff, selected stakeholders, and residents to design a master plan for downtown Northborough, Massachusetts.

Our team conducted an initial in-person public meeting where we received feedback from residents on what should be included within the master plan. The overriding consensus was the need for more housing, retail, and entertainment options in the downtown area. We are also providing economic development input through our subconsultant, RKG Associates. Four scenario locations in which we incorporated mixed-use buildings with retail on the ground floor and housing above were selected. These new buildings would be connected by a new system of trails and public open spaces for both large and more intimate gatherings.
