Gath Memorial Pool Improvements

Weston & Sampson assisted Construction Dynamics, Inc. and the City of Newton, Massachusetts with the rehabilitation of the Harry Gath Memorial Pool Complex.

Our team designed and installed an 8-lane, 5,000-SF competition lap pool with two diving boards, a 5,100-SF zero-entry family pool with a water slide and walking lanes, and a 2,550-SF splash pad with water play features. Located in the middle of the Albemarle Road athletic fields, the pools are plastered with stainless steel gutters and operate with sand filters, UV systems, automatic fills, CO2, and liquid chlorine feeders. This $3.75 million project was successfully completed on an expedited fall through spring schedule to open the following summer.
