Lincoln Park Pool Reconstruction

Renovation and Reconstruction of Historic Pool

Weston & Sampson designed and managed the reconstruction of Albany’s historic Lincoln Park Pool, creating a modern aquatic center with new pools, splash pad, and family-friendly amenities.

Weston & Sampson partnered with the City of Albany to reimagine the historic Lincoln Park Pool, originally built in 1933 and listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places. Following an 18-month public engagement process, a new facility was designed to meet modern health, safety, and recreational needs while respecting the site’s historic character. The project transformed the deteriorating 1.7-acre pool into a vibrant aquatic center featuring new pools, water play areas, and updated bathhouse facilities.
