Boston Sports Institute Pool

Weston & Sampson assisted with the reconfiguration of the 2012 Olympic Trials swimming pool for the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

The project was a public/private partnership between the Town of Wellesley and Edge Sports Group. We worked with the owners and Myrtha Pools to develop a plan to reconfigure the original 50-meter pool into one 10-lane 25-yard pool and a smaller separate 3-lane warm up and teaching pool. Additionally, our construction division installed the pools and equipment at the facility which features regenerative media filtration, as well as two hockey rinks, and an indoor turf field.
