The project work included combined 700-gpm water supply wells, and long-term pumping test and permitting; submersible well pumps, motors, and pitless adapters; design and construction of a new 2,600-SF brick building for treatment with NaOCl, KOH, and phosphate; pump station including process pipe, instrumentation, and controls; electrical equipment; pump station layout to allow for future filtration units for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS); and raw and finished water main to transport raw water to new treatment facility including provisions for Groundwater Rule compliance monitoring. The Wells 10 and 11 chemical treatment station included submersible well pumps and VFDs remotely located in cabinets at the wells, 100 kw generator sized for both Wells 10 and 11, and complete SCADA integration into the town’s existing interface.
