Rock Row Pump Station Design

Pump Station Design & Construction Admin for Mixed-Use Redevelopment

Weston & Sampson was contracted by Dirigo Center Developers, LLC, to provide Design/Build services for a wastewater pumping station to serve the Rock Row development in Westbrook, Maine.

All sanitary wastewater generated from the development, which consists of roughly 2M SF of commercial and residential properties, will be pumped using two Gorman Rupp T8 pumps rated at 1,500 GPM. Our pump station design emphasizes reliability, simplicity, and ease of operation and maintenance and will handle estimated peak design flows from the service area with a lead/lag pumping scenario. Our team was responsible for most aspects of the design, including electrical, instrumentation, heating, ventilation, plumbing, architectural, structural, and process, and Weston & Sampson CMR provided construction services.
