Sewer & Drain Replacement

Twin Manhole Separation & Combined Sewer Replacement in Urban Core

As a result of multiple television inspection reports prepared by Weston & Sampson, the City of Worcester selected us to design twin manhole separation projects and combined sewer replacement projects at various locations throughout the city.

The primary goals of the program are to separate twin manholes and replace non-reinforced concrete sewer pipe. The twin manhole separation designs include replacement of sewers and drains, as well as replacement of water main where it is in conflict. Combined, our work on several projects has included replacement of more than 7,700 LF of sewer ranging from 8- to 18-inch, nearly 6,000 LF of drain ranging from 12- to 15-inch, and more than 3,400 LF of water main, along with valves, hydrants, sewer and drain manholes, catch basins, and building connections.
